Description:
1,General knowledge of networking and VoIP issues, particularly with respect to embedded systems is positives. Knowledge of C/C++ programming issues in this environment is mandatory. SIP and protocol experience a plus.
2,Working knowledge with at least one of the protocols: H323, SIP, RTP, ISDN.
3,Requires hands on experience with one or more of the LAN/WAN and network layer protocols.
4,Working knowledge of large voice communications system, including PBX, voice mail system.
5,Various software technologies like logical analysis, machine learning techniques, Linux networks.
6,Previous experience working in High availability and fail over (fault tolerant) systems.
7,Specific networking experience with standard IP based protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, IP, VoIP, QoS, Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g.
8,Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 3-5 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 5+ yrs related experience.
