TTS5.0 is a state-of-the-art trading system that runs on Sun Microsystems servers and the Solaris 10 Operating System. It gives the TTS5.0 a competitive edge and an exceptionally robust and flexible trading platform. Because of this flexibility, the customer can have many options about the final trading environment and what individual functionality each trader type will use.
For convenience TTS5.0 functionality can be split into 5 categories:
Multiple Orders Trading: Any trade type that requires multiple orders to be simultaneously processed by the trader. Examples include Arbitrage Traders and Program Traders
Single Order Trading: Any trade type that deals with a single order at a time. This includes orders routed from customers. Examples include Cash Traders, Day Traders and Sales Traders
Trade Monitoring: These features allow a trader to observe the status of orders they have submitted or queued for submission. These features also allow a Senior Trader to observe the status of Junior Traders.
Decision Support System (DSS): These are features that allow the trader to ascertain the state of the market and/or the state of a specific issue. These features are used to help the trader make informed decisions about what to trade and when. The DSS system is accessible to all trader types.
Common Features: These are features that are relevant to all trader types and normally can be accessed from multiple parts of the application.
