Client/Server and Web-based architecture - Whether you're in the office, on the road or working from home you can always stay connected with DevTrack. DevTrack offers both a full-featured browser client and a Windows client.
Easy GUI customization - DevTrack forms and fields can by easily customized using point-and-click operations to fit your unique business requirements.
Powerful workflow control - Sophisticated workflow rules can be easily configured in DevTrack to control the following important business processes: status transition, applicable owner, who can change, read-only fields, invisible fields, and mandatory fields.
Role-based privilege control - DevTrack allows you to define different account types for different roles in your organization, and different account types can have different privileges for viewing information and performing operations in DevTrack.
Flexible team organization - DevTrack allows you to group users into different teams for better team work. You can also define folders in DevTrack to hold general and shared issues.
Auto-routing and escalation - Rules can be defined to automatically route issues to appropriate users when an issue is created or forwarded. Issues which are open too long, past due, or stagnant, can be automatically escalated and alerting messages can be automatically sent out to appropriate engineers or leaders.
Event (or sub-issue, or task) support - Sub-issues can be created and assigned to different team members to help track and resolve the parent issue. Status change in parent issue can automatically trigger the creation of pre-defined sub-issues. Presentation-quality reports - DevTrack has more than 100 built-in presentation-quality reports. These reports can be customized. In additional to the pre-built reports, you can dynamically create your own custom reports and define web query reports to send to other people.
Integration with version control tools - DevTrack supports integration with all the popular version control tools on the market, including MS Visual SourceSafe, Perforce, ClearCase, PVCS, and CVS.
